Low Light Amsterdam Twenty-one and over Outcall, at your own door
About

About Low Light Amsterdam

The house keeps no premises, so nothing happens anywhere except the room you are already in. Twenty-three therapists cover the central districts, and the whole arrangement is built to take as little out of you as possible.

This practice exists for a guest who is not looking for an experience. He is looking for an hour in which nothing is required of him, and he has usually spent the day being spoken to. Everything here is shaped around that: the short thread, the low lamp, the slow tempo, the absence of anything that has to be chosen on the spot.

Sensual massage in Amsterdam, run from a thread rather than a building

The work is outcall and nothing else. No studio, no reception desk, no address anyone could stand outside. A therapist comes to a hotel room or an apartment in the central districts, forty to sixty minutes after the hour is agreed. Schiphol and the airport hotels are arranged separately, with the journey time talked through and agreed before an hour is held. Nothing is taken outside Amsterdam, at any price.

The part the house plays is a narrow one and worth setting down plainly. It arranges an hour, agrees it, confirms it in writing and prints what things cost. The hour itself belongs to the two people in the room and to nobody else. That belongs to the therapist, who states her limits at the start of the visit and keeps them for the whole of it.

Why quiet is the whole brief

A city break in Amsterdam is loud in a way that is hard to explain afterwards. Bicycle bells, trams, a crowd on every bridge, a bar that turns out to be a room with sixty people shouting over a speaker. Somewhere around the second evening a certain kind of visitor has had enough of all of it, and what he wants is not entertainment but a room with one lamp on in it.

The bookings that follow from that are recognisable. They are written late in the afternoon rather than at midnight. They are short. They ask for ninety minutes more often than sixty, they ask for no music more often than you would think, and they rarely name a technique. Reading a few hundred of them is how this site came to look the way it does.

Who comes to the door

Twenty-three women keep hours with the house, and every one of them is twenty-one or over. English is on all twenty-three profiles, and between them they also carry Russian, Dutch, French, Spanish, Ukrainian, Czech, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Hungarian, Croatian, Serbian and Latvian. Each has a page on the roster with her age, her languages, the district she sets out from and her photographs, published with her agreement.

The pages are there so that you can decide before writing, but nobody is obliged to use them. A message that describes the evening rather than a person is answered with whoever is free, and that is an ordinary way to book here.

The rates, and the fact that they do not move

One hour is 180 euros, ninety minutes 270, two hours 360, three hours 540 and the eight hour block 1,250. A couple sharing one therapist is 360 an hour, a therapist each 720. Two therapists working on one guest comes to 360 an hour. Weekends do not change any of it, nor does the evening, nor does the crossing from one district to another. Every figure on the site includes all taxes.

Where the lines are drawn

Work is never taken outside Amsterdam. It will not print a hotel or a bar on a page. It keeps no accounts and no client files beyond what a booking needs. It will not take a booking on behalf of somebody in the room who has not agreed to it. And it will not fill a quiet guest's inbox: the thread answers what is asked and then stops. The formats page covers what is offered, and the booking page covers how an hour is fixed.
